You will be reporting to the Sales Manager/Director or the company and will become a key-player in the business development and the sales activities in the Dutch, French and English speaking countries.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Development of a strong relationship between key-customers and EuroMedix by maintaining permanent contact in order to monitor satisfaction and general service and initiate any remedial actions required
- All account management aspects: pricing, follow-up of offers and orders
- Quotations, Order Entry, Control Order Picking, Invoicing, Credit Control
- Support activity at cardio-metabolic, obesity and associated conferences and the follow-up of interested parties
- Customer visits and attendance to congresses & exhibitions (on a monthly basis)
Required qualifications:
- Minimum eduction level: bachelor
- Experience in Customer Service and international business
- Eventual experience in medical business or point-of-care diagnostics products
- French or Dutch mother tongue (bilingual) and fluent in English, knowledge of German
- Excellent communication skills (telephone calls and written communication)
- Pro-active customer and sales-oriented approach
- Drivers licence

The following internship is available at EuroMedix. You will be responsible during the internship for the development of scientific, technical and commercial support related to BIA technology.
You will be working closely with researchers and the EuroMedix sales team with excellent possibilities for a future position at EuroMedix in case of a satisfactory fulfilled internship.
Your tasks:
A. Transplant Lines Research UMCGroningen
We have initiated the "Transplant Lines" research at Groningen Transplantatie Centrum (GTC). This is a major new study on long term survival in transplant patients. There has been a strong focus in recent years on preventing acute organ rejection. These results have become very good over time, but the longterm outcome after transplantation remains problematic. After a transplant, over time patients are confronted with diverse health problems such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, gout, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, worn hips, osteoporosis, renal dysfunction, cancer, malnutrition and diarrhoea.
The "Transplant Lines" research seeks to collect a wide range of data from all transplant patients. We hope with this to gain more insight into the health problems that arise, and how they can be addressed.
Related to the Transplant Lines research, you will cooperate in research through the inclusion and analysis of the BIA results that emerge in the Transplant Lines research. It is expected that this research will be concluded with a publication by the candidate.
B. Application Specialist @ EuroMedix
- The follow up of diverse studies in Benelux and European universities
- Support activity at cardio metabolic and associated conferences (BIA, targeting health workers) and follow up of interested parties
- Product specialist and sales expert in BIA applications in all their aspects
- Studying and advising on the applications of BIA technology
- Maintaining product knowledge and participating in training so that not only commercial but also technical information can be professionally communicated to the customer
- You will closely work and communicate with the following departments: Sales, Marketing, Technical & Training, Customer Service, Manufacturing
- Help Desk, installations and training for BIA technology
- Primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of metabolic syndrome
- Product demonstration and sales support for "new prospects" and existing customers
- Development of a strong relationship between key customers and EuroMedix by maintaining regular contact in order to monitor satisfaction and general service; initiate any remedial actions required
Your Profile:
- Exercise physiologist in training, performing last part of the study (master internship)
- Other possible skills: notions of sports, physiotherapy, dietetics, prevention, ...
- Multilingual skills (English, German, French, ...) are an asset
- Knowledge of the computer and standard software
- You are in good physical condition and are a non-smoker
- You are in the possession of a driving license B or C
- Independent, flexible, pro-active customer and sales-oriented approach
